[PRIMROSE The 1st MINI ALBUM 'RED MOON'] 신인 댄스 듀오, 프림로즈 (PRIMROSE)
그녀들이 고난과 역경을 딛고 일어나 가요계에 드디어 첫발을 내딛는다. PRIMROSE는 루비, 예음 이렇게 두 명으로 구성되어 있으며 4세대 아이돌 중 최초로 선보이는 2인조 걸그룹이다.

 

PRIMROSE라는 그룹명은 첫 번째로 피어난 장미를 뜻하며 이는 타이틀곡의 이름과 동일한데 강렬한 비트와 그들만의 세계관이 담긴 곡으로 가요계에 강한 인상을 남기고 싶다는 포부를 담고 있다.

첫 앨범임에도 불구하고 앨범에 수록되어 있는 곡 4곡이 전부 다른 스타일의 곡으로 프림로즈가 소화할 수 있는 장르의 다양성을 여실히 보여준다. 또한 '루비'와 '예음'이 수록곡 COMELY, PLAY의 작사 작곡에 직접 참여해 아티스트적인 면모도 선보였다.
